Ford announced enhancements for Transit Connect, offering customers best-in-class fuel efficiency and introducing a 1.0-tonne payload for the first time.

• Ford Transit Connect updated with significant new capability for fleet customers including best-in-class fuel efficiency from advanced 1.5-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engine
• Operators can now benefit from an increased GVM of 2,501 kg, offering payloads of up to 982 kg 1 for even greater productivity
• Ford has also approved Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil fuel for use with all variants of the 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel for Transit Connect
• Enhanced Transit Connect line-up now available to order in all EU markets, including extended availability of high-series Limited model
